Haircuts!

On Saturday Craig and I took Emma Claire and Owen to get their first haircuts! We went to a cute little place called Lollilocks that is just for kids. Emma got to pick where she wanted to sit and chose a pink elephant of course! She did really good but didn't know what to think at first. We had decided before we went that both kids were just going to get a trim. I want to let Owen's hair grow and I wasn't ready to actually cut Emmas curls just yet. After she cut Emmas hair she let her look through a book to choose a hair style she wanted. After she was all done she looked like a little cheerleader with ribbons and sparkles in her hair!

We knew Owen would need a FAST haircut but he surprisingly did really, really good. He played with a toy and didn't care in the slightest that he was getting his hair cut. She even used electric clippers on him and he didn't flinch at all. When they were done they each got a sucker. It was Owen's first sucker and he LOVED it. When we tried to take it away he cried... a lot! It was really fun!
