Random happenings...

Not much new happening in our world... We did get a new car last weekend! We decided to go look at SUVs since we were ready to trade in the good old Expedition and there is some great deals right now on full size SUVs since everyone is wanting the fuel efficient cars. We went with the intention of only looking but it always happens (at least to us!) that we walk away with another car.

We got a GMC Yukon. It is really nice! It is still an 8 passenger so we have lots of room for our stuff and the dog when we go places. It gets a lot better gas mileage then the Expedition so it makes up for the increase in payment. Emma loves the DVD player and wants to watch Nemo where ever we go.


Today after gymnastics we went shopping and then on our way home Emma was really tired since she played so hard and it was approaching nap time anyway. I looked over when we were half way home and saw this...
Emma is sleeping and holding hands with Owen! How cute is that?!?! Owen rode almost the entire way home just holding her hand... We have the sweetest kids!

One last thing... Emma is so hillarious sometimes that it takes everything in us not to burst our laughing all the time. Yesterday, Craig was helping her get dressed when he said "hold on a sec, your panties are goofy" and Emma looked him dead in the face and said "No Daddy, they're not goofy they are Elmo!" She was SO serious. It was so funny!
