Camping Fun!

We just got back from our first camping trip with the kids! It went really well. Craig and I haven't been camping in far too long and we have never taken the kids to do anything like this, so I was a little nervous but we had a great time. We ate too much, got too much sun and just spent the weekend relaxing. Sleeping in a tent on air mattresses was a little trying at times... Emma woke up in the middle of the night and was pretty scared since it was so dark and co-sleeping with Owen was hard on an air mattress. We tried to prepare Emma for the fact that we would be sleeping outside for a couple days and I think she understood since she had been playing in the tent in the basement before we left and she knew we would be putting our beds in there.

When we went boating on Saturday, we forgot the camera :( so no photos of Nick, Branden and Craig skiing and tubing. The lake is long and narrow (like Lake Orville) so there was plenty of room for them to be thrown around! They all have a decent sunburn after that day on the boat! Emma had a great time going for rides in her bike trailer, playing parachute and going into the water with her life jacket. We are planning another trip soon!
