Cheyenne Frontier Days and Kenny Chesney!

On Saturday we went up with my family to Cheyenne, Wyoming for the annual Cheyenne Frontier Days. The main event are the rodeos that happen all week long but there are tons of other things like a carnival for the kids, vendors selling all kinds of western type goods, an old western town with authentic buildings and a whole bunch of stuff. We had a great time during the day with the kids at the carnival, went to dinner at Old Chicago and then Beth took the kids and drove back to my parents house so we could go to the concert. The kids did great on the hour and a half drive and went right back to sleep when they got home. That was a huge relief for me since they were so far away!

We had a really great time at the Kenny Chesney concert that night!! Even though we have seen Kenny in concert before it was a really great show. We were a little disappointed that he didn't play one specific song that is one of Craig's favorites but he sang everything else we wanted. Of course Craig couldn't resist the urge to scream "Kenny, I love you" as loud as he could when the crowd was mostly quiet. Everyone around us turned and looked and burst out laughing. Always the funny man :)

Emma loves getting her face painted! It was the first thing we did. The woman who did it was SO fast the whole thing was done in like 3 minutes!

Owen fell asleep while walking around with Aunt Beth right after we got there. He finally woke up when we were about to leave and got to to on the carousel. He did not like it. He was holding onto the bar for dear life and would not smile or anything. :)

When we finally got off he didn't say anything but kept staring at the carousel until he couldn't see it anymore.
