Really GOOD news!

We finally got to see the Neurologist at Children's Hospital. It took a while since our referral was all messed up by the Pediatrician and insurance company but we finally got in. The Neurologist examined Emma physically and then we went through a whole list of questions about everything from her birth to what she eats. She had Emma run down the hall, hold a ball and throw it, follow simple commands and all kinds of stuff. Her diagnosis - Temporary onset from developmental advancement! YAY!

She did say it may turn into a true stutter since Craig and I both have cousins that do or have had stuttering issues. She doesn't recommend any speech therapy or anything, just wait it out and she will get over it eventually. We still try and help her by speaking slowly, not interrupting her whens he is trying to speak and so forth.

Anyway, thanks so much for everyone's prayers and positive thoughts! We are truly lucky to have such great friends and family!!
