Our trip to Utah!

We just got home from our trip to Utah to meet baby Samuel! What a gorgeous baby!! We had a whirlwind couple of days filled with lots of fun and great food! We had a rough drive on Thursday since we didn't leave when we wanted to. We overslept and didn't get an early enough start so the kids were awake a lot of the drive. Then we missed our exit and drove almost 50 miles in the wrong direction! So, other then having the kids awake more then we planned and adding 100 miles to our drive, it was pretty good. Thank goodness we have a car with a DVD player! We got there and had some time with Sarah and the baby before the rest of the family arrived. It was great to see everyone when they did arrive.

On Friday, we went to Chloe and Brandon's house and had lunch. Craig and I decided to use a photographer I found in Salt Lake City and have some family portraits taken so we did that on Friday as well. They turned out great! We made Sarah and Jason dinner and took Cecelia and Collin with us, to give Sarah and Jason a break. The kids played at the park and then we had a great dinner at Cafe Rio. You have got to hand it to Utah, they have some GREAT restaurants!!

On Saturday, we went to the pumpkin patch in the afternoon with all the kids. They played in bouncy houses, swings and slides, played in Cinderella's coach and got face painting. It was fun!! We went out to The Brick Oven for dinner and again, really good food! They had this balloon animal maker that was AMAZING! He noticed Emma's beloved Ozzy and created a ostrich that was unbelievable!! I should have taken a picture. Emma kept looking at Ozzy and then at the balloon ostrich and comparing them. He also made Cecilia a Snow White complete with an apple and a Spiderman for Collin complete with a web! Wow! Then Jason, Craig and I took Collin, Emma, Cece and Owen to Jumpin' Jacks. Basically it is a huge warehouse with a bunch of jumping things in it. The kids ran around like crazy and had SO much fun. They had this huge inflatable slide that stood 50 or 60 feet in the air. Emma climbed right up and went down. I swear that kid has no fear!

We miss you guys already and hope we will see each other again soon. We love you guys!!

Jovie kissing Owen! For some reason I can't get the photo to orient properly :(

The huge slide that she loved! No Fear!

A huge rocking chair at the pumpkin patch! The kids didn't feel like cooperating!

Baby Samuel! What a cutie! Collin in his Batman costume!

Emma and Cecilia in the Carriage. Climbing up a rope ladder to go down a slide.

Loving her face paint!
